Entry to this programme requires students to have attained the General Secondary School Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent, with a minimum high school average of 60%. All applicants must also provide: Evidence of English Language Proficiency: • Students from non-MoE curricula taught in English are exempt from providing English Language Proficiency evidence. • Students from non-MoE curricula taught in a language other than English must demonstrate proficiency through internationally standardised tests (IELTS 5 and above). • Students from the MoE curriculum must demonstrate proficiency through their high school English grades, which must be no less than 80%. Conditional admission may be granted to students who do not meet the English proficiency requirements, whether from non-MoE curricula taught in a language other than English or from the MoE curriculum. The following requirements apply: Non-MoE Curricula Taught in a Language Other Than English: • Students with an IELTS score between 4.0 and 4.9, or its established equivalent, may register for the non-credit-bearing English Remedial course alongside two General Education courses. These students must achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in Semester 1; failure to do so will result in probation. • Students with an IELTS score between 3.0 and 3.9, or its established equivalent, may register for the non-credit-bearing Intensive English course alongside one General Education course. These students must achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in Semester 1; failure to do so will result in probation. • Students with an IELTS score below 3.0, or its established equivalent, may register for the non-credit-bearing Intensive English course only. MoE Curriculum: • Students with a high school English score of 70%–79% may register for 12 credits, encompassing credit-bearing courses and remedial courses. These students must achieve a CGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in Semester 1; failure to do so will result in probation. • Students with a high school English score of 60%–69% may register for the non-credit-bearing English Remedial course alongside two General Education courses. These students must achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in Semester 1; failure to do so will result in probation. • Students with a high school English score below 60% may register for the non-credit-bearing Intensive English course alongside the General Education Arabic course. Additionally, applicants whose high school average is below 60% may be granted conditional admission, with course registration restricted to a maximum of 12 credits in the first semester. Such students must achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale by the end of Semester 1; failure to do so will result in probation. Hostel Fees: • Single Occupancy: 40,000 AED (Sep–Jun) | 20,000 AED (Feb–Jun) • Double Occupancy: 25,000 AED (Sep–Jun) | 12,500 AED (Feb–Jun)
